  1. My time saving tips are for those chronic list makers. I used to have lists at home, at school, in my car, everywhere. I use my "stickies" on my MacBook to make lists for school now. I even have a simple summary of my lesson plans on there to refer to. When I find an idea on a blog, twitter, or pinterest, I know when I will need to use it. At home – we use Evernote and Google Calendar to organize our lives. I love that everyone in our family can access it. Finally – my newest timesaver is the app, Grocery IQ. Everyone in my family contributes to our grocery list all week and then on Saturday when I shop, I just pull it up on my phone and everyone's requests are there and organized by category.

  2. I learned three amazing new things with that video. Although I don't give power point presentation often, it is nice to know you can blackout or whiteout the screen by pressing "b" or "w." I absolutely love the ideas that you can double space on your phone list to make a space and period and just move on, and how you can skip the voicemail message by just pressing # or *. Like Shana said, my family also used a grocery ap in order to sync Chris and my grocery lists, so we don't forget anything at the store. I also love to use excel to make charts or for data review, because I can sort by any column, add data up easily, and adjust the size of cells and pages easily without it unformatting all of my data when you make changes like Word. Many people don't know you can make several rows within each cell by holding the shift key and return. (It is different in Mac vs. Windows.)
